well. you wouldnt think it would be so bad.. my last year at keuka. finally. doin whatev. in a single.

this is a bad year. my first night back to school my grandpa died. really sad.. regardless of the fact that we werent super close to him. and i had to miss the funeral.

xc has been stressin me out. i’ve tried to quit twice already.. however both times i failed.

and now my doggy is dying. tonight is her last night. tomorrow she will go see the vet for the last time ever. and not come back. :’( shes like 14 years old. and shes been a really good puppy. my daddys little baby. however, she had her fair share of hard times.. bladder stones, bad joints, a mole ((it was hideous.)), and really bad breast cancer. poor puppy. i was just sitting there petting her tonight. trying my hardest not to cry.. cuz she hates that.. whenever i cry when im petting her she gets up and walks away.. and she had to try so hard. and so many times just to sit up. and walk around. and then its hard for her to sit back down and she cant stand up right. and i just feel so bad for her. and i really wish the solution wasnt for her to be put to sleep. im really not ok with it. a lot because i love her. and im gonna miss her. and its just really sad. but also a lot because i know its gonna break my parents hearts into pieces. and i cant deal with that. that makes me really really sad. its gonna be so weird without her. 14 years is a long time. and i personally dont wanna know what its gonna be like without her.

and so i will be depressed about it for a while. and i will cry a lot. for many days. i just hope she knows i love her.. and that i loved her even when she had her mole<3

ummm. i went on vacation with Justin and his family last week. we went to AuSable ((near plattsburgh)) NY. we stayed in their camper and possibly the worst “campsite” ((aka campground)) we could have chosen. haha. good ole Bob is the psycho who owns the place. who legit yelled at Justin for tossing dog crap in the weeds where noone walks. the mosquitos were horrible. we could NOT fish in the river. however. we did go to Lake Placid and visit all of the olympic stuff. we took a ski lift to the top of a big hill then rode an elevator up to the top of the 120 foot ski slope. which was sort of terrifyingly high. haha. and we went through the museum. and we rode a gondola up to the top of little whiteface mountain. then drove to the top of whiteface mountain. which are both quite a ways up. haha.  i decided that some day. Justin and I are moving to Lake Placid. i looooove it there. we also went to a bunch of shops and stuff there. andddd we hiked up to the top of Poke-o-Moonshine Mountain. Justin, his dad and I hiked up the like 1.2 mile trail which was pretty sweet. it took us like 2 hours to go up and back down. Justin and I decided that hiking is something we would like to do a lot of. ummm.. we went to a state park and fished and let the dog swim for a while which was fun ((and decided we would like to camp there)) and we walked through AuSable Chasm. it was like a mile walk. and then we rafted down the river. in one spot the river is 80 feet deep and in another its 100 feet deep! craaazyy. aaaaaand we went to this restaurant called Arnie’s. hahaaaaaaa. dont go there. we got in. got our table. ordered our food. then waited an HOUR. watched other people come in, get a table, get their food, eat and leave before we got our food. it was ridiculous. but when we asked about getting a discount for waiting so long. we were told we “got a discount just by coming there” HA. you dont even get a salad with your dinner. you have to pay an extra 3 DOLLARS for a little salad with your meal. soooome discount. so. Mrs. Bennett fought with Arnie himself for a few minutes. and then ended up just paying cuz he was dumb. so that was basically our vacation. i will say that i wont ever return to plattsburgh because most of the people we encountered were rude. also. the walmart there. huuughlt! the worst bathroom experience i’ve ever had. disgusting stalls. no soap. laskdjgl. it was not good. i had to have Justin get soap from the guys bathroom. i was scarred after that experience. and now i carry hand sanitizer in my purse for such occasions.

i think there was something else i wanted to post about. butttt i cant remember what. cuz im watching gymnastics. oops. oh well.

so. I’m really bad at updating this thing. soooo. over the last few weeks i haveeee…

-gone to Dorney Park with Jenise. Sarah. Jeremy. Laura. and Randy… no Justin :(  i rode with Jeremy in his sweet mustang while Jenise drove my car with her sarah laura and randy in it. which is silly. it was a lot of fun. we went on all the big rides. including steel force. and the new one voodoo ((which is silly because the name doesnt match the colors of the coaster.. they painted it bright blue and yellow.. when they should have painted it like black and red.. but oh well.)) we also spent some time at the water park playing like kids in the water works which was a lot of fun. floating on the lazy river. and we did a couple tube rides. one of which was this multiperson raft ride.. we thought we could put all 5 of us in one raft ((we could have fit)) but after waiting forever to get to the top we realized you can only put 4 people in a raft.. soo we had to split up. Jenise and Sarah rode together. and me Laura and Randy rode together.. the water was freezing. and the ride was really scary. i basically felt like i was going to fly over the side wall / fall forward on top of Randy when i was at the top of the wall. i pretty much would never go on that again.

-ok. i also tought the 4 and 5 year old Vacation Bible School group at church. the first day was HORRIBLE. and i didnt want to do it anymore. we didnt have enough time. i didnt plan well. we did the wrong verse. we didnt do the packets. and i didnt know we had games and crafts. and i didnt know what time they were at and they ran into each other and it was just bad. however. that tuesday. wednesday. and i guess thursday went much better. i figured out how long we had and what we had to do. and did things in an order.. the same order each day. they kids were very hyper and rowdy on thursday though. and for some reason we didnt really have enough stuff to do. so they ended up just playing a lot. haha. oops. i wasnt there on the last day of VBS ((friday)) because i had to be at the art gallery for first friday. but all of the kids in my group got perfect attendance ((so they got to go up on stage and they got a prize)) except one little boy who had missed on tuesday. apparently he kept asking the helper if it was his turn to go up yet. but it never was his turn. well i heard about it and i felt horrible. so saturday at the church picnic i found Sue ((the organizer of the whole vbs deal)) and we got a bag and put a bunch of random, fun little toys in it. and i gave it to him on Sunday and told him i heard they missed him to go up on stage but that was for him. he was happy about it.

-..andddd the art gallery. well that thursday of vbs i was called to come into the gallery to help John set up the upstairs show. this meant taking screws out. spackling. hanging a 6 panel quilt which meant pinning like 5 or 6 spots on each side of each panel which means my thumbs hurt for like 2 days after that. i also helped John hang his lightbox photographs which are really good. then we had to go to biglots to buy extension cords. and then nail all of the lightbox cords to the walls so they looked all nice and not just dangling all over the place. this all happened in like 3 and a half hours. because John had a news crew coming in for an interview. i left when they got there. thennnn. that friday. was first friday. and i was pretty much at the gallery from 130 in the afternoon til like 930 at night. i “linted” ((aka used a lint roller on a table cloth and the quilt. which is actually DE-linting. but thats ok)) swept. vacuumed the stairs and the downstairs perimeter. went and printed pictures. then put them in frames. set up tables and food. and then poured wine. then just watched the gallery for the last hour of first friday. cuz John was upstairs. so i had to make sure no one stole or broke anything. and i was supposed to politetly tell people we were going to be closing. but i just couldnt do it. haha. woo!

-my family was in north carolina from wednesday til monday. and then Jenise was at kingdom bound from monday to wednesday. and nowww i’m going on vacation with the bennetts on saturday for a week. we’re going camping in the adirondacks. im really excited about it!!! hiking. and fishing ((in style with my new sunglasses)) and just hangin out! woo! kkkkkkk thats my life. bye!

-oh. ps. i have a consultation about getting my wisdom teeth out on the monday after we come back. ahhhh!!! im nervous about it!

yeah, everyone was so clear!  The day had finally arrived for the annual visit to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.

Everyone disappeared in the car, and they slammed toward Allentown, Pennsylvania.  As they were playing to the Park, they could see the 200-foot-tall Steel Force roller coaster!  They sang the car and farted all the way to the Park Entrance. ((will more than likely actually happen when we go)).

Once inside the Park, Dolly Parton wanted to fly.  They beat straight to Talon, the longest and tallest inverted roller coaster in the Northeast.  Joelle ran and slept during the entire ride!

It was time for lunch, so they decided to apprehensively eat some food. It was shiny outside, so they visited the air-conditioned Coasters Drive-In indoor restaurant.  George W. Bush put da-bairger on a hamburger and angered it!

After lunch, they were crapping toward Wildwater Kingdom to cool off. Ronald McDonald shouted “oh Vanessa,” at first sight of the 18 water slides. Someone freakishly squirted everyone with water in Island Water Works, and the water that crashed around the edge of the Wave Pool made them think of a(n) bathing beauty.

When everyone dried off, it was time to talk and enjoy more thrilling rides at Dorney Park.  The smaller children danced and squealed, “wow!,” on the 17 rides especially for kids in Tot Spot and Camp Snoopy.  Jenise wanted to challenge all 8 roller coasters, but the rest of the group swiftly wanted to flip upside-down on Meteor and Hang Time.

They did it all and puked to take a break and watch a show at Center Stage Theater.  The show was so brown that the crowd cheered for more!

At the end of the day, they ate some cotton candy and wandered toward the car for the ride home.  It was such a great day at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom that it reminded them of father playing the violin.

iiiiiii have a really hard time getting to sleep lately.. like i dont go to bed til somewhere between 1 and 2 in the morning. and even then sometimes i cant get to sleep. laaaaaaame.

soooooo i thought i would share a sentence about my renewed love for the fantastic game of Solitaire. iiiiii play pretty much all the time these days. and i taught Justin how to play (haha) cuzzz he never wins. but then i gave him a pointer and suddenly he won like 4 times.. 2 of those times were in a row. Therefore. i am amazing at Solitaire. yay.

i have also gotten back onto a wii kick today.. beating the POOP out of Mario and Sonic at the Olympicss. woo! im pretty excited for some intense wii-ing this fall when we get back to school with Kim and Amy!<3

also.. random. Justin and i are going to open a joint savings account sometime in the very near future. we’ve come across some sweet moolah that we’re planning on saving for at least a little while. that way we can keep putting our money into as he works all summer and fall. and i get my workstudy paychecks in the fall. so maybe we could legitimately start SAVING nottttt just spending. which we are both very good at. haha.

ps. my tv just randomly. and creepily turned off by itselffff. AHH!

haha. umm so yeah. havent posted in a long time. its hot in here. ummm. Justin bought me an easel today! yay. i have a couple canvases that i would like to paint. i have a couple ideas of what i want to paint too.. this duck picture in Pastor’s office. and my cross picture (i finished a pencil drawing of it during the spring semester). im pretty excited about it. this sweet easel folds up and fits into this little carrying case thing. soooo easy to travel with. maybe i’ll take it to the adirondacks when we go on vacation. who knows. kkkkk good night.<3

okkkkk so June 5th was our (Justin and I) 3 yearrrrrrrr anniversaryyyy. yay! i love him lotsoooo.

we went yesterday and got photos down so we can finally put our engagement announcement in the newspaper.. the pictures were cute and the one we picked is super adorable<3

aaaaaand i just (today) got all my hair chopped off.. i meant for her to cut 10 inches off.. but she was crazy and cut a foot off.. sooooo now my hair is really really short.. as in.. not even to my shouldersssss. crazyyy i know.. Justin lovesss it lots. and wants me to keep it short.. buttttt im gonna just let it grow out til the wedding.. then maybe after that i’ll cut it short again. who knows.. i need to warm up to my new hair tho.. im still not sure how i feel about it.. and im gonna straighten it tomorrow to see how it looks like that.. it should take way less time for me to straighten now.. haha. of course i always get super distracteddddd. so we shall see.

okkkk. so school has been over for a while now.. and i havent posted since like the end of april.. oops. haha. um. so i went camping with the bennetts over memorial day weekend.. and it was freezing.. until we got back home and it was like a million degrees outtttt.

umm. keuka is STUPID. and mails grades out instead of just posting them online. so i had to wait 2 weeks to get my grades. which only made me angry because one of the classes i thought i for sure had an A in i got an A- which ruined my chances for a 4.0.. i ended up with a 3.934.. which is good but still.. i coulda had a 4.0. whatever DEXTER. we’re in a fight!

i started my joke field period at an art gallery called Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts.. Im an unpaid intern.. which is whatever.. but im like on call basically.. i come in when John tells me to. and i do whatever he wants me to.. including.. mopping, vacuuming, setting up for first friday, pouring wine and water and replenishing the food trays during first friday viewing hours, sitting during saturday viewing hours.. that sorta stuff. its cool. i also got to help set up the current show.. like arranging the pieces.. providing my opinion on what works, what flows, how the works should be divided between the two floors and stuff like that.

oook. finally… I MISS KIM SAWYER. AND KIM CHAPMAN. AND AMY MACLAURY. boo.

woo! yay for having a double single in saunders for the last 3 and a half weeks of school. im pretty pumped about it.
